edocrab is a "beta" which means that, in general, it will still have some bugs and issues to work out before it is completely "polished". While we think there shouldn't be any major issues, it is not recommended to install edocrab on your primary device at this time. This is true for all "beta" software.

edocrab beta also has a few limitations that we don't expect to be there in the final release. Some of these are because of technical limitations or simply because we didn't have enough time to finish them before the beta release. These include:

• edocrab "beta" is currently for the US only.
• You have to manually take a picture of a barcode (ie. no "video" capture)
• Only certain device models support camera scanning
• Does not leverage Wi-Fi
• Several small text or layout bugs
