If when you go to select the "Scan" feature, you see the icon greyed out and receive a message that states "Sorry, your device does not meet the hardware requirements for scanning barcodes. Please use the manual 'Search' feature to manually enter the barcode instead", then your device is not have the capability of scanning barcodes with the device camera.
In general:
- edocrab works on all BlackBerry devices with OS 4.5 or higher.
- Barcode scanning works on devices with cameras that support the autofocus technology
